Has anyone ever seen angels?

I have a story that made me strongly believe in guardian angels. My grandfather strongly believed in God and knew he was out there (as do i). He has told me this story about when he was in the war many times and gets teary eyed each time. He was in the war wear it was freezing cold. To be specific -40 degrees. He was out where it was about that temperature and was ready to com mitt suicide. BTW this is in korea and there is no trees or anything. Ok anyway, he was ready to shoot himself when out of nowhere there is a fire. A HUGE fire with some of his war buddies around it.(he didn't know them) And as he continued to ask questions they didn't talk or anything. He saw his friends (the real ones) and went to them and said "LOOK THESE GUYS BUILT A FIRE WERE GUNNA BE OK!" They looked at him with an awed expression and he turned around and the men were gone . They asked him how he built the fire and how could he answer? This story makes me believe harder than ever! Tell me what you think of the story and your own experiences
