How many clothes does a kid need?

It makes for a lot of laundry doesn't it! My kids don't need the school uniforms so that cuts things down just a little...Does she really wear it all? My kids have favorites that they wear over and over and some things rarely get touched. I'm at the verge of cleaning out my younger daughters dresser and sending some to charity. I can barely get it all in!
