How should I join the army?

Ive been in Navy DEP for almost a year now. I dont ship out until june. I rushed into the military because I was going through some bad times. My parents really thought I should do navy. I was military retarded, I didnt understand each branch and I fell right into the recruiters and just kept saying yes to all his questions but, that was almost over a year now, and the job a chose sucks, and is boring. I dont even get a signing bonus. Now, Ive been researching alot, and I realize I want to join the army. I would like to go do infantry but I dont want to have to hear my whole family try and talk me out of it. Its something I want to do. How do I get out of navy DEP and into the army. What should I tell my parents/family.
